AC Shadows Introduces Unexpected Attack on Titan Crossover for Holiday Season
In a surprising collaboration that breaks conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Uncovered
According to the formal release, "An unusual confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of forbidden rituals and fearsome transformations resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret cult.
The mission centers on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a striking scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Additional Features
Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an special katana together with numerous objects hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Third Free Story Update
This patch also adds the game's third complimentary story episode, titled "A Puzzlement."
