Our Purpose Is Only Executing' - How Sudan's Brutal Paramilitary Group Perpetrated a Mass Killing

Combatants smirk as they travel on the back of a transport truck, speeding alongside a series of multiple lifeless forms and driving towards the setting Sudan's evening sky.
"See such accomplishment. Look at this act of mass destruction," one exclaims.
The fighter smiles as he directs the recording device on himself and his companion fighters, their paramilitary identification clearly shown: "The victims will all perish this way."
The men are rejoicing over a massacre that humanitarian officials fear claimed the lives of more than two thousand civilians in the Sudan's city of al-Fashir during October.
A City Severed from the World
After maintaining the urban area under blockade for approximately 24 months, from August the RSF advanced to consolidate its dominance and blockade the leftover inhabitants.
Space-based imagery demonstrate that troops commenced to erect a immense earth barrier - a built-up dirt embankment - around the perimeter of the city, closing access routes and blocking relief supplies.
